“Travis is much more than an extraordinary athlete to us, he represents uncompromised passion and commitment – the very fuel behind hOme’s sensibility. It’s hard to think of a better match” comments hOme’s CEO and co-founder Eddy Dousse.

The breaking news comes as a perfect follow-up for hOme only three months after having secured a distribution partner- ship with C3 for the US territory. True to himself Rice is as pumped as ever and already looks ahead :

“It is an honor to join two of my favorites, Gigi and Mark, to become a member of the hOme family ! A new and passionate company led by brothers Eddy & Jak, along with Brusti & Steve, with a fresh new vision, rooted in Swiss Precision. With C3’s support and a new level of standards for the market, I truly look forward to spending my future collaborating at hOme.”

“Travis Rice deserves the most respect in snowboarding to date. Welcoming Travis to complete the hOme penguin team along with Mark Sollors is gonna make for a good time.” Gigi Rüf

“Travis’ drive for perfection combined with his approach of making the impossible possible suits the credo at hOme. A unique snowboarder, a great visionary and a good friend is joining the crew.” Patrick Armbruster

Disclaimer … It’s a little wild and crazy… If you like shredding though, it’s worth checking out.

Matt Munn swung by the office the other day to grab a normal snowboard…. Imagine that, camber, side cut, all those good classic features a snowboard used to have.

Matt’s a good kid, great shred and were stoked to have his personality be a part of CAPiTA in Canada.

Check out this video of Mr Munn warming up for his big win at the game of snow on Mt Seymour in early Jan.

What happens when you take 2 great brands and mash them into a single collaboration collection ? A really good collaboration… I think that answer was pretty obvious.

California’s own Stussy has linked up with Portland-based Holden for a new Fall 2012 collection. Inspired by a one-week road trip from the mountainous Northwest to the sandy beaches of Southern California, the “Stussy by Holden” collaboration is meant to provide a functional and flexible wardrobe perfect for all settings. The five-piece kit includes a field pant, CPO field shirt, packable vest and two military-inspired jackets. Finally, Holden will be supporting the collection trough both a short video by Shelby Menzel that features former professional snowboarder Russell Winfield modeling the looks, as well as an organized week-long journey from Oregon to California for 10 lucky individuals this March.

The “Stussy by Holden” collection includes two military-inspired jackets, a packable vest, a CPO field shirt, and a field pant—all constructed with eco-friendlier fabrics and updated with tailored fits and technical performance. The collection retains the classic Holden style—understated elegance with a clean, bold design and subtle-yet-unique details—all while offering timeless quality.

“We thought the partnership was a great fit” says, Fraser Avey, at Stussy. “The companies have a lot in common from our organic and grassroots beginnings to our military-inspired designs. Holden is well known for the quality of their outdoor garments and we thought it would be great to partner for a project together.”

“Stussy is one of very few brands in our industry that you can say is truly iconic, and it’s a pleasure to be working with them on this collection,” says Holden CEO Ben Pruess. “Stussy by Holden is the perfect blend of our snow roots and technical know-how and their legendary surf, skate, street vibe. What better way to help celebrate Holden’s first sportswear collection then to work with the independent brand that helped write the book on doing it right.”
